Meet Viktoria
Meet the namesake of our foundation; Viktoria Leslea Leen. Viktoria was born in the Ukraine and adopted when she was 7 years old. Viktoria had several health conditions including SJIA (systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis) and Downs Syndrome. Despite these difficult conditions, Viktoria had an incredibly full life getting to enjoy things like going to the markets with her family, taking trips to the beach, going to concerts, and attending school. She was a fierce and sassy teenager when, at 13, she passed away from complications of her conditions. Her spirit is incredibly strong and lives on in the lives of the people she knows and loves.
